History

In 2001 Avant-Garde Global Transportation was founded by brothers, and native San Diegans, Robert and Richard Watson. The brothers were joined by their father, Thomas, in 2004.

Avant-Garde Global Limousine began in a small 500 square foot office with two limousines and one employee. The brothers immediately targeted the leisure market, specializing in “party” transportation for San Diego’s weekend fun seekers.

Within four years the company had established a reputation for reliability, quality products and fair pricing. In 2005 the Watson’s decided to take the next step by entering the San Diego area corporate market.

They hired a business development specialist and quickly established ongoing accounts with many of San Diego’s largest and finest corporations. The program was so successful the brothers re-set their goals again, this time focusing on the creation of a nationwide corporate ground service network.

Since 2005 Avant-Garde has offered ongoing corporate ground transportation services in over 200 cities throughout the United States and across the world.
